How the “Unconditionally Withdrawn” Status Now Works (Alpha Version: 9.8.1.0)

The Conditionally Withdrawn status was previously used by MLS members to remove a listing before relisting it under a new MLS number prior to our August system overhaul, which was implemented to streamline the process. Other agents would approach the homeowner about the possibility of relisting the property after the Conditionally Withdrawn listing had expired (i.e., after the listing had reached its expiration date). The concern is that soliciting a homeowner who is already under contract with a fellow REALTOR ® is against the REALTOR ®Code of Ethics.

A new sub-status called Relisted should be utilized by agents who want to remove a listing in order to relist it promptly.
